About the Lyra Music Foundation

We foster the creative exploration of music and AI.

We help young people discover their voice through music and technology. Music education builds more than skill. It builds confidence, discipline, and fosters community.

Through guided learning, mentorship, and real-world projects, we give young people the tools to turn curiosity into craft and creativity into self-expression.

The Lyra Music Foundation (LMF) builds accessible pathways for youth to learn, create, and share music regardless of background or income. We partner with schools, community centers, and local artists to offer free and low-cost programs. These include group lessons, songwriting workshops, mentorship, studio sessions, and digital literacy training.

Our approach blends education with experience. Students learn musical skills and gain confidence, teamwork, and creative problem-solving abilities that stay with them beyond the classroom. We sustain this mission through grants, donations, performances, and partnerships that reinvest directly into youth programs.

By combining creative education with community support, LMF helps young people turn their love of music into lifelong tools for expression, connection, and opportunity.

With this mission, we are working on two projects that we believe will have a meaningful impact:

1. Lyra AI Music Agent: Lyra AI equips a music AI agent with deep, reliable context. It connects the agent to compositions, recordings, educational resources, and live musical references so its responses are grounded in real material, not assumptions. The system stays continuously updated, allowing the agent to reason about music with clarity, accuracy, and creative awareness.

2. The Talent Community: We are working on nurturing a creative learning community focused on the intersection of music and AI. We call this Theta.cx. The program serves as safe space for young people to explore music, collaborate with peers, and receive mentorship from experienced musicians and technologists. We will also host workshops and events to foster a sense of community and encourage ongoing learning.
